Saibh Skelly releases fresh summer jam 'Sly'
Having a ball while keeping the ball rolling forward.
“When I play this song live, people go crazy for it. I think that’s because it’s one of the most relatable songs I’ve ever written. We’ve all met someone in our lives that's just not a very good person, someone that’s just a bit sly” - Saibh Skelly
Fresh from the success of 'Superficial', Dublin teenager Saibh Skelly raises the stakes again with the scintillating SLY. Co-written and produced by Ash Howes (Gabrielle Aplin, Kylie) and Olivia Sebastianelli (Cosmic Gate, Purple Disco Machine), SLY is modern pop with a twist.
'Superficial' was supported by Mollie King (Future Pop), Jack Saunders at BBC Radio 1 and by Gemma Bradley on her BBC NI show. 'Superficial' charted in the Top 40 of the national Irish airplay chart and has been played over 500 times so far on the radio. The Anton Powers remix of ‘Superficial’ has been played on KISS UK and playlisted at Electric Radio.
Saibh Skelly has recently played a sold-out headline gig in Dublin and supported Hozier at his recent quartet of Irish comeback shows, which coincided with the release of her first EP of self-written material - “SAIBH X FIVE”.
She is about to head back into the studio for a fresh round of writing and recording. Saibh Skelly continues to grow her online audience, with 89k followers on Instagram, 6 million views on her YouTube channel and 4million views on TikTok.
SLY is released on Thursday 6th July.
