Jamie Duffy releases new single 'Into The West' Featuring Patrick Dexter

The success of Jamie Duffy's debut release 'Solas' last year is a fantastic story. Since release in February 2022, the track has been streamed 38 million times and has enjoyed over 17 million plays on YouTube. 'Solas' was the most streamed debut release by an Irish artist in 2022. An amazing achievement for the 21-year-old pianist. 

Jamie's new track is a collaboration with County Mayo cellist Patrick Dexter, who built himself a large online following during the pandemic with his simple but haunting cello video performances from his cottage in Connemara. 'Into The West' - recorded at Attica Audio in the rural splendour of County Donegal - draws inspiration from the wild shores of the Irish Atlantic coast. Remembering the thousands who departed from Ireland in search of a better life on the other side of the world, and also reflecting on the glorious yet haunted wilderness of the landscape they left behind.
