Chameleon makes his Rubyworks debut with new single 'Show Me Where Your Heart Is'

Introducing Chameleon, aka young Irish singer / musician / producer Matthew Harris from Dublin.

Having introduced himself with a couple of self-released singles in lockdown and wrapped collaborations with fellow Irish talents Malaki and Lucy McWilliams, Matthew put himself forward for Irish music magazine Hot Press and their 'New Local Hero' initiative to get more Irish talent on the radio. He beat off competition from 24 other new Irish artists put forward by regional radio stations to win the first prize at the end of 2021.

Having spent the first part of 2022 finishing his degree course in film studies at Trinity College in Dublin, Matthew / Chameleon is ready to make his debut for Rubyworks. And what a cracking debut this is. 'Show Me Where Your Heart Is' is a massive summer jam, part Isley Brothers summer retro vibes - part Easy Life 21st century bop. He plays all the instruments, all the vocals (including the rap) and produced it too. 

All the Irish radio stations who participated in the new talent competition have committed to play the single by the winner.

At just 22 years old, the future for Chameleon looks very bright indeed.
